HIMS and BookShare Partner

Receive a FREE 1-year subscription to BookShare with purchase of any BookSense model in November or December of 2011.  Subscriber must be BookShare qualified.

Instructions for submitting your BookShare subscription

HIMS is pleased to co-sponsor in partnership with BookShare this special Holiday promotion offering a free one-year individual renewal or new member subscription to BookShare, a repository of more than 125,000 electronic books in DAISY format. In order to receive your free one-year subscription to BookShare, you must meet the eligibility criteria for an individual membership as required by BookShare. Please visit their website for further details regarding eligibility at: http://www.bookshare.org/_/membership/qualifications If you are not currently a BookShare member, please complete the following steps:

  1. You must complete the application process at the following link: https://www.bookshare.org/signUpType
  2. Submit your completed and signed Membership Agreement (for members under 18) and Proof of Disability forms.
  3. Send an email to membership@bookshare.org before January 31, 2012. Include “HIMS PROMOTION” in the subject line in the body of the email, provide your name, email used to create your BookShare account and new BookSense serial number.
  4. BookShare will process your request as soon as possible. Please allow two weeks for membership processing and confirmation.

If you have a current subscription to BookShare, your purchase of a BookSense entitles you to a 1-year renewal subscription starting from the date your current subscription expires. However, your renewal must be applied for on or before January 31, 2012. To obtain your free one-year renewal, follow these steps:

  1. Send an email to membership@bookshare.org before January 31, 2012. Include “HIMS PROMOTION” in the subject line in the body of the email, provide your name, email used to create your BookShare account and new BookSense serial number.
  2. BookShare will process your request as soon as possible. Please allow two weeks for membership processing and confirmation.
